Speed Tracker Pro ("the App") is developed and operated by Tobias Haubold. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.
Speed Tracker Pro is designed with privacy in mind. All your data stays on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.
The App does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
Speed Tracker Pro uses your device's GPS to determine your speed and record trip routes. This location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
Location data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. You can delete any trip and its associated location data at any time from within the App.
If you deny location access, the App will not be able to measure speed or record trips, but will not crash or malfunction.
The App requests "Always" location permission to enable background trip recording. This allows the App to continue tracking your speed and route when you switch to other apps.
Background location data is only collected while a trip recording is actively running. No location data is collected when no trip is being recorded.
All trip data (routes, speeds, statistics) is stored locally on your device. The App does not use any cloud services or external databases. If you delete the App, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.
